You have the power to create and heal your body
ByIn many of my posts I have spoken about the inner power that we posses, the power of us as a soul to affect change in our physical reality, the power of our minds in constructing our reality. Our thoughts are the basis of everything that is going on around us. Everything outside of us is a result of our most intimate thoughts and pictures we create in our minds eye. “Life is pictures of the mind expressed.” You can really view your reality as being symbolic of the inner you. In other words, everything that manifest in reality is the outer symbol of the inner workings of your mind at any given time. It is your power of creation as a soul manifested.
You create your most intimate symbol
What is the most intimate symbol of your reality? Think about it for a moment. The most intimate symbol in your entire physical reality is your body. You created your body based on your beliefs. You create the health of it or lack of health based on your beliefs. Beliefs are simply thoughts that are solidified by imagination and emotion. Our body is the most intimate symbol of our beliefs about our physical well being.
There are times that we may suffer from illness. They can be minor to severe. In the western society we have developed a dependency on western medicine and science to find cures for the most severe illnesses. Most of our belief system is that something or someone from outside of us has to cure the illnesses. If we have a headache, we get an aspirin. To keep us from getting the flu we will get flu vaccines. However, we do have the power to heal ourselves.

The law of attraction is based on universal principles
There have been numerous examples of people healing themselves of severe diseases when others thought there was little hope. The common denominator in these healings was the beliefs by those people that the healing was going to occur. It takes a special strength to believe against the tide of common knowledge and wisdom. It takes a special strength to have all the symbols of life around you going against your desires and have the faith and courage that change can occur. Not just with illness but in any part of your life. But many people do it everyday.
When people speak on the law of attraction invariably it is on wealth creation and materials. But be aware that LOA is based on UNIVERSAL principles. It’s not based on just one area of your life or one area of creation for that matter. Understanding the basis of the universal principles permeates your life at all levels. Your beliefs, your physical body and its health are based on universal principles. The law of attraction affects your health and well being, your relationships and any other facet of your life as much as your pocketbook. It aids you in creating your reality.
You are a creator not a victim
It seems so often people want to negotiate or cop out when it comes to the power they have in creating their life. Its as if it is more noble to be a victim in a difficult situation. However if you can not reconcile this contradiction in your belief system you are doomed to be an unconscious creator. Never being aware that you create your reality no matter the circumstance. The good and the bad. You can not say you create reality in one area of your life and then say someone or something else is in control in another area of your life. There is no middle ground you are a creator or you are a victim. One understands their power and the other feels and/or accepts being powerless.
Here is how the law of attraction works in conjunction with your most intimate symbol, your body. If you have a belief that a certain action will produce a certain result the LOA says that you will attract those results into your experience. If there are no contradicting beliefs you will manifest what you so faithfully believe. Your body is built on your beliefs. Do you believe that someday you will get cancer because of heredity? Do you believe you are destined to be overweight? Do you believe that you lose your eyesight and hearing as you get older? These are common beliefs that occur and are fulfilled by universal law. But we have to power to not acquiesce to such beliefs.
You get a new body every few years
Where do you get your beliefs about human health? You get them in youth from your parents or anyone that had influence over you. As you get older you get them from science and the medical establishment. All of these influences are from outside of you and give credence to the belief that what is outside of you is what controls your health. But if you are the creator of your reality isn’t your body part of that? Why can’t you create it as you wish? Do you know that the body you have today is made up of cells that are no more than seven years old? Every seven years every cell in your body totally replaces themselves. Shouldn’t you be able to change it to what you would desire within that period of time at the very least?
When you are speaking about the concept of LOA and universal laws understand the powerful knowledge that you are privy too. Know that the world around you is your creation. Everything that is around you is really coming from inside you. Your consciousness created your reality to experience it. The same as All-That-Is created the universe. You are endowed with the ability of the creator to create your world. It is no different for your most intimate symbol, your body. You have the power to heal it and shape it. You simply have to believe it and see it as done.
You will need that special courage and strength to do so. But unlike the masses you have the knowledge you are a creator and not a victim of circumstance.
Fantastic Reginald! Ever since I started experimenting with these ideas and learning more about them – I am in awe of how much we really can do.
Another book that has really inspired me in this area is Bruce Lipton’s “The Biology of Belief” – fantastic when it comes to our health and body and how things “really” work.

Hi Evita,
Yes I am a definite fan of Bruce Lipton he is great and causing a paradigm shift in medicine. I like to watch his siminars on youtube and google video. I have him on video being interview with my article The voodoo effect and the power of beliefs.
I am the same as you. I have experimented with the power of healing myself. Funny thing is I have always intuitively known this. Now it is simply being confirmed in so many areas objectively. Yes, it really does work. I am for the most part a very healthy person. Never had a major illness and my belief is that I will always be healthy. But a couple of years ago my knees started to give me problems. This is years after I was an athlete and did all kinds of amazing feats. They were amazing in my mind anyway.
for about a month I could not walk without limping because of the pain. I learned some imagery techniques that absolutely healed my knees. I no longer limp and as a matter of fact I now walk/run 3 to 4 days every week. I have no signs of pain in my knees of any kind. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if I had not done that I would have succumb to the pain and been inactive and cause a cascade of health issues. I know I will get older but I will be strong and healthy. I am now and will be.
That is my belief.
Reginald, this is so well written and clear, everyone should read it! I am tempted to post on the topic, so I can link to your article, and spread the word. I share your same view about health, and how we create our bodies. Disease starts in the energy-body first, and only then it manifests physically, because the physical body molds itself around the energetic blueprint.
How we design this blueprint, depends on our thoughts and beliefs, as you say. When we change it, we change our bodies. When we allow the energy to flow through it, we allow Consciousness to imprint the memory of every cell with the pattern they are supposed to tune into.

Hey Palma, thank you for the complement on the article. It would be great if you could write on the same subject. I truly believe you could write on the same topic and give your perspective on it that it could aid someone else in grasping the idea. Our perspectives may be similar but I bet you would see something different than myself and others could connect to you better than me. It could do nothing but enlighten more if you were to write on the same topic from your perspective.
We can change so much when we change our beliefs. It is amazingly simple but the beliefs makes things more difficult. We are unlimited beings. The word should get out and it is. thanks to blogs like yours at http://www.buddhatrance.com/ and http://bluelotusliving.com/ the word is getting out in a fantastic way!
Hi Reginald. Letting you know that a post on the subject is being written in my mind’s eye, haven’t forgotten about it!
Ironically, I had to deal with my sister’s health issues from the typical approach of fear, anxiety, and powerlessness. I was busy trying to let her understand the electrical nature of our bodies. It was interesting to note how changing a belief system could take a few seconds, and yet it’s like a cement wall when one is not open to real change from within.

Yes, Palma changing the beliefs is really the hard work. In society we have such a can’t do attitude. The only limits we have are the ones we believe we have. Little by little people will take the lid off of the box of limiting beliefs. It will be wondrous!
