When is faith like a tool that binds

There are times we have to realize for ourselves when we have to grow past constraints that will not allow us to develop a depth of knowledge that will allow evolution of consciousness. We are starting to get so much information about the end of the world and how we are destroying the earth.

We have become dependent on others to tell us how we should view our world. We allow the fear mongers to dictate our moves and actions.

When we put our faith in others to tell us about what our world is and what it will be like we give away our power to create the world that we truly desire. We have been taught we exist simply based on luck or fate. On the other side of the coin we have been taught an all powerful being is pulling all the strings and if we live righteously this being will pull the strings in our favor and for every one that believes the same.

Rope, like faith, can bind or liberate

You create your reality

Let it be known, that no one and no thing has any power in your world except what you give them! You and only you are the creator of your reality! The world you see is a reflection of a much grander and broader reality.

Maybe you don’t want to believe this statement because it is more comfortable to believe that someone or something else will take away the need for you to make the tough decisions in your life. You were given a road map to lead you into a greater understanding of your reality and your power. However, this road map has been used and distorted for the gain of power mongers.

When we look at the evening news we get all kinds of pictures that confirm so many of the worst fears of mankind. We get fed all of the doom and gloom news to a point that many simply bury their heads and hope that something or someone will save us and our planet. We are steadily given data and images of a world that is in peril. When we are given solutions, if any, they are by someone in power that moves in on our fears and plunks down the answer that usually involve giving up some of our rights.

New age concepts are actually very ancient

I am sure by now you have heard of at least a few of the new age concepts like The Law of Attraction, 2012 and the Mayan calendar, Gaia, Light Workers and many more.

Maybe you have been told that you should shun any new age teaching and have faith that what you have be told is ALL the TRUTH you need to know. Furthermore, to question these truths given to you is to question God himself and the person or people that question is possessed by Satan.

You have probably been told to walk by faith! Often times this has meant that you are not to question what you have been told. The more faithful you are implies that you are walking closer with God. You are being a good boy or girl for not wanting to peek behind the veil. But how do you really know? Who determines how close or apart from God you are? When is faith a tool to bind you and not liberate you?

The fact is many of the “new age” concepts are recognition of different parts of the grander reality that exist beyond our physical senses. They are ancient and predate religions. They are what many religions were meant to lead us into discovering before they were twisted and used to bind us in fear and superstition. All religions have some spiritual truths laced into the fabric of the superstitions or we would not gravitate to any of it. It is time to separate truths from superstition.

Should you be bound by faith?

When one has faith in what one is told to be true and one never finds out for self, it is then a tool that binds? In this instance, one is taking the word and experience of another and claiming it as their own without ever questioning or investigating. The stature of the person in the body or the body of the organization with stature is enough. Often times the body will set in place blocks that will forbid you from even questioning the motives and beliefs behind the motives.

When I was growing up, I heard statements like, “maybe God does not want you to know that” or “how dare you question the will of God?” As I grew older I started to ask how does one learn what God wants us to know and what he does not? I honestly started to wonder if the more ignorant and least knowledgeable were supposed to be the most holy. That’s how it seemed to me.

I realized pretty quickly that the people I was asking for spiritual guidance either did not know the answers I needed or had some sort of agenda. It frustrated me for a long time. Then I realized I needed to find the answers for myself.

This is what I learned for me. What many of us call “God” is real. I put the term “God” in quotations because the concept that this word puts in our minds is so limiting. For me, at the point “God” is defined is the point that we make “God” less than it is. When we make “God” in any way like a human can it truly be “God?” The ancients have said, “God is indefinable.” There is a greater existence than we are lead to believe. Science is just as limited as religion (the particular religious affiliation is irrelevant) in leading us to discover this greater existence. This knowledge can aid us in our daily lives. We don’t have to wait for death to get that knowledge or some reward.

Faith is a bridge

Faith is simply a bridge of trust. Here is what I mean, Sometimes we can have a knowing that we cannot conceptualize and understand within the bounds of our brain and mind for a time. The feeling of knowing without physical confirmation or experience is the communication from that part of us that is eternal. Which is our soul. This is something that occurs for us all the time. It is not only in a spiritual sense that this phenomenon occurs. Faith is the trust that the information we receive from our soul is our truth. There are certain aspects of our existence that we will never experience with our five senses. Our personal concept of God is one of those. Faith does not mean you should turn off your faculties of reason, never question or investigate. The term for anyone that wants you to have that type of thought process is, controlling.

If a belief is rooted in fear it is a form of control plain and simple. It has nothing to do with spirituality and moving closer to “God.”

Faith is not a tool that binds like a rope; it is the bridge to liberation and empowerment. Faith strengthens you! Faith does not put you in a position of being controlled or powerless to something or someone. Again, You are powerful beyond belief!

When one melds wisdom with understanding, knowledge is the child birthed from that union. Faith is the bridge to the knowledge of the ages. A Knowledge you posses from beyond the mind and body. it is your birth right as a human being. It is the pathway to the eternal knowledge you possess. It is where religion was to guide you, not block you.

Trust the truths that come from your soul not from man. You will KNOW the difference. With this faith, fear will no longer set up residence in the temple that is your body. You; as an eternal soul KNOW your truths! Fear and love cannot exist in the same space. God is love and is in you.
