Yes, I have a bias against religion. In order for there to be religion people have to ascribe to its doctrines. You can not separate the people and the religion. As people change so does the context of the religions. The assertion that it is not the religion but the people that cause the destruction is ludicrous. it is the standardized beliefs and dogma that the people buy into that allows them to make decisions to destroy others. In order for there to be religion people have to ascribe to its doctrines. You can not separate the people and the religion. As people change so does the context of the religions.

Is that such a terrible thing to accept? Is that really awful of us to believe that? You are doing the same thing a lot of religious people have done to you in assuming that religious people in general are all one way. And... It's not the religion that causes destruction. It's the people. They use religion as an excuse for their strange, violent behaviors, even when the religion itself preaches NOTHING OF THE SORT. It's not the religion's fault... and no one should act in such awful ways, religious, scientific, pagan, anything. No one should.
