We have been fed specific ideas and messages through our families, parents, church, and society for years. Because of this, it is very difficult for people to look beyond it and completely shut themselves off to inquiring beyond what they are taught by religion. Unfortunately, a lot of people choose the easy way of just following the ritual and teachings of their religion and church without ever questioning and sometimes without even knowing what it is they believe in.
