Heaven is not a destination

By

It has been a while sense I have written on my blog. When I started my blog I had just started a chapter in my life that was one ripe with lessons. It was the start of one of the most difficult times in my life. Many of my articles are truly about my journey. I know that there are others that are going through many of the same challenges as I have been through. My gift to share with the world is my ability to understand complex information and simplify it in plain everyday language and experience.

Before this chapter in my life started I had read and studied many things on metaphysics. I had intellectualized so much information. Much of it was complex or so far removed from my previous beliefs and understanding of my life and world that it took a great leap of faith to believe it.

For me it is important that I get information from different sources. My faith can be strengthened when two or more unrelated sources confirm a concept that I have intellectualized. I am a skeptic by nature. I can say that walking by faith has not always been a strength of mine. However, coming through this difficult period in my life has taught me many lessons and confirmed so much information that I had only intellectualized before. I am still learning. I am still intellectualizing much. But even with intellectualizing I have learned how to allow my higher self to come through and accept what I KNOW.fear keeps you trapped

Realizations

I have realized that my brain cannot and will not ever understand many of the concepts and experiences of my soul. When a person understands or KNOWS a concept without the ability to explain it is when they are in touch with their higher self. It is your soul that you are allowing to come through. I have learned to accept this KNOWING in that moment. I can later try in understand it. When I understand it I can then try and explain it. Often times I can start to understand it when someone asks me a question. Through teaching them I can understand it intellectually.

Through the most difficult trials in my life, this is what I now KNOW. God’s love is real and I cannot fail or fall. I have the power to create my world as I wish. The only limitation is ME. I now truly understand what the Christ meant when he stated in

John 14:11 “Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; Or at least believe in the evidence of the miracles themselves.”

I now KNOW that God is in me. I KNOW that God permeates all of creation and that I am a part of that creation. Through the God that is in me, as he was in the Christ, I was able to perform and create miracles in my life. I have learned that the love of God and fear cannot exist in the same place. When I allow fear to enter into my being, I am forgetting that the “Father” loves me and with that love in me I cannot fail or falter. This I KNOW and have witnessed through the “evidence of the miracles themselves!”

Consciousness is not static or easily defined

Through these experiences I now have an understanding of the esoteric concepts of the Third Dimension, the Fourth Dimension and ascension. Many may ask, what is this Third and Fourth Dimension and ascension? In this respect Dimensions are not physical places. They are states of mind in a physical sense, or states of consciousness in a much broader metaphysical sense. Our consciousness operates in different dimensions or states at all times. One that is easy for us to differentiate is when we dream. But even when we are awake, our consciousness shifts.

Have you ever caught yourself day dreaming? Did you know you were in a different state of consciousness at that time? Have you have had someone tell you that they had to call your name two or three times to get your attention when you were focused on a book, a video game, or maybe television? All of these are shifts in consciousness that we are familiar with but may be unaware of what is occurring. They can all be termed states of consciousness or different dimensions if you will.  There is no distinct line of demarcation accept what we decide on and label. They are arbitrary. Our consciousness is always flowing and moving in and out of different states constantly.

The Third Dimensional state of consciousness

The Third Dimension is a state of mind in which we operate in fear and hold on to the illusion of being separate from creation and God being outside of us and in control of us. In this state of mind we hold on to concepts of poverty, racism, sexism and all the ism’s that produces a concept of division among the human race and nature.  The Third Dimension is that of duality and polar opposites such as, good and evil, light and dark. The Third dimension is a state of mind that causes us to judge others based solely on our limited experience.

We see the evidence of this type of consciousness in the media, daily. It is us being shackled by fear. It is the idea that our world and our existence is one of lack, limitation and deficiency.  Most of our world operates in this dimension the majority of the time. It is a state of feeling separate from and outside of creation. When one is unaware of its state of grace fear can take up residence inside this consciousness. When we see lack and limitation we fight over what we believe is a finite resource. This type consciousness manifests itself in many ways. It is a low vibrational state.

What is Ascension?

If you grew up Christian, as I did, you have heard about ascension. You may think of it in terms of when Christ ascended into heaven. You think of it in terms of a person dying and going to heaven. If you are Christian allow me to interject and have you consider a deeper meaning of this biblical concept. Christ and many of his teachings had so much more depth than what many of us were taught. Here is what I mean:

Christ said in John 16:25 “Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father.”

Christ spoke to the people of that time on a level they could comprehend and understand. He would say it a certain way in public and then explain the meaning to his disciples. It is time for us all to stop getting lost in the words and traps of control, limitation and dogma to connect to the deeper meanings he taught. We can then connect to a vast reservoir of knowledge and comprehension that is rightfully ours as the human race. The Christ understood at a level that we will never understand if we get lost in the dogma.  Listen to the words of the master teacher when he stated in

Luke 17:20-21: “The kingdom of heaven does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, here it is, or There it is, because the kingdom of God is within you.”

Heaven is not a place, but a state of mind or a state of consciousness that resides in each of us. It is personal and unique to each of us. When we are feeling good we are at a high vibration. When we raise our vibration, we ascend.

When we KNOW God smiles on us

When one can operate or vibrate KNOWING that the love of God is in them and protecting them, it is a beautiful feeling and they will have ascended. When one is joyful and uplifted we raise our vibration or ascend. When you no longer are shackled by separateness and fear you have raised your vibration and ascended into the Fourth Dimension. The Fourth Dimension is when you have reached the state of mind of being one with God and all his creation. You are at peace.

You have ascended when you can move through life KNOWING that all is well and “The Father” gives you the strength to conquer and master any trial. You have ascended when you know that all things happen for your greater good even though at that moment it may not be judged good by you.  When you are loving, lighthearted and joyful you automatically raise your vibration or ascend. Here is the kicker, we move into and out of the Fourth Dimension constantly. When we change our state of mind and operate from a place of love and joy we are operating in the Fourth Dimension. It is not marked by death, or bells, or angels manifesting in front of you. It is a state of consciousness. It is mobile and changing as is the nature of consciousness. It has always been that way and it will always be that way.

I will state again. Heaven is not a place or a destination. It is a state of mind.

You reach heaven when you are at peace. You reach heaven when you are joyful. You carve out your own little slice of heaven when you can appreciate the unconditional love of God that flows through you. You reach heaven when you know that all is well and will always be. In that state you have raised your vibration or ascended.

It is a state of mind. “It will not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, Here it is, or There it is…” It is all within you. It is how you choose to perceive the world. It is when you decide to raise your vibration. You decide to ascend. Not when something or someone judges you as being worthy to go to heaven. It is personal.

When you are sad, fearful and full of anxiety about your life, your family and the world it is then you stay in the Third Dimensional consciousness. You choose to observe your world from this perspective. It is inside you. It is personal.

We are souls having a human experience

We are souls in physical form. We are perfectly human which means we are not perfect.  There are many times that I do operate in the third dimensional consciousness. There are times that I get fearful and angry. This past year has brought me many opportunities come face to face with my creations. I KNOW my world around me is a reflection of what is occurring within me. I have learned to recognize when I am in a low vibrational state and make a choice to raise it. I do this in any number of ways. I also recognize that my life is a journey not a destination.

With this recognition, I could step back and view my life from the perspective of my soul. During difficult times I would ask myself, what is the lesson? At that point I had to find the silver lining in that cloud or accentuate the positive. I had to raise my vibration and ascend to the dimension of KNOWING that all is well and through the spirit of God in me I would prevail. That is the power of positive thinking and faith. It has carried me through some difficult times.

When I am sitting in Barnes and Noble enjoying a frappuccino and books, I am then vibrating in the Fourth Dimension. It is a place that brings me joy and contentment. It is my little slice of heaven. What is it that brings you joy and contentment? Still trying to figure that out? Believe that no one can find that out for you. You will need to go within. It is where your slice of heaven is. It all is a state of mind. It is the words of The Christ, the master teacher. Heaven is not a destination. It is a state of mind. It is personal. KNOW that you are the creator of your life and all it entails. You are powerful beyond belief! We are all sons and daughters of God. A master teacher said so over 2000 years ago.

Woah! I just started reading your articles and can not stop. They are astounding, you really need to get this information out there a little more. It just makes sooooooooo much sense, AMAZING, especially to someone like me who was pretty much ready to leave the Christian faith, mainly because how I was taught and what I had learned DIDN’T make sense, wasn’t working, didn’t make me feel any closer to God, partially ruined my life, and I had just about had it. Seriously, you could probably help a lot of people who are in my boat.

  2. @Amazed,
Hey I do appreciate the compliment and I am glad that my writing resonates with you.

  3. Amazed says:

Not only resonate but liberate. So many years in a mainstream and highly evangelical Christian church and believing every word of it. It is easy to see why people leave and wind up becoming completely anti-Christian. Imagine what that can do to a person, living in fear every day that their family is going to go to hell because you can’t get them saved. That’s just one example. I mean it’s bad. On my journey OUT of the church, looking for new answers, I started reading up a little about LOA and other things so I have some understanding what you are talking about. It is very nice that you put what Christ taught in the proper perspective of what it REALLY meant as opposed to what they teach in a church. I see the value of those teachings when properly understood, so perhaps I don’t have to chuck everything out the window, but let the journey begin again. Who knows how everything got so distorted.

My friend trust me when I say I can identify with your story. What I learned is that what is taught in Christianity is not the teaching of Jesus. It is the teachings of Paul. Jesus had a much deeper message. It was not one of separation. Religion is simply about control, not liberation. It keeps people locked in fear. Fear of going to a totally illogical concept of Hell. Spirituality and religion are not the same thing. I consider myself spiritual and recognizing the oneness of all. Jesus was a great teacher. He was not Christian. He never said he was God personified. The Catholic Church made that up. I could go on and on. But I can say to you that it is not necessary to scrap the teaching of Jesus. Just the fear and Dogma of the religion. His teaching were metaphysical, that is why LOA and his teachings are not mutually exclusive. Thank you for taking the time to comment. you are welcome anytime. :)

I must say that I too have just started reading your articles and will continue to do so. I too came up in the Christian church and always felt that there was something amiss. It is not in me to just believe what someone says, being a researcher by nature, I have to know it for myself and my journey has led me to Metaphysics and lately the Universal laws which is how I came across your website. I experience the dimensions/levels of consciousness on nearly a daily bases and doing so at will, though it does take effort and awareness of my state of mind in the moment. After reading your article I have a better understanding of the process that is taking place and for that I want to thank you. Understanding the concept that I am a soul having a human experience is one of the things that help me keep my perspective as I experience this physical life and to truly know myself is a driving force in my quest for knowledge of truth. I have been researching the topic of the ego, I don’t know if you have an article about the subject as I haven’t gotten through them all yet. Will you share your insight on how the ego fits into the flow of consciousness from the Third Dimension to Ascension? Peace and Love.

    Reginald Martin Reply:

    Hello my friend,
Darius, I appreciate your comments and taking the time to comment on my thoughts. My writings are my personal truths. And like you my journey has been one of discovery, liberation and empowerment. Much of that journey was solitary. But so many are awakening. Like you I now know that I am not alone but discovering the vastness of the one.
It is a beautiful thing. :)

Now, on the ego. Understand that our names for the different levels of consciousness are really arbitrary. We flow in and out of those levels and/or dimensions at all times of the day and night. What we call our ego is that part of our consciousness that keeps of rooted in the physical dimension. Let’s say there are 12 dimensions of consciousness (depending on your beliefs there can be more or less, it is personal). Dimensions 3 thru 6 are of a physical nature. What we call ego is the filter for those dimensions. Unfortunately, most at the present time believe the ego is all we are consciously. We only operate through this filter. We allow third dimensional consciousness (fear and lack) to be our state of being. When we step through ego consciousness is when we ascend. Here is what I mean:

Most people expect ascension to be marked by some terrific event. However, it is a state of mind that we reach when we are in a joyful state. It is the raising of our vibration that marks ascension. It is from within. It is not and will not be marked by an observable event. We can ascend to the 4th and 5th dimensions and back to the 3rd in a matter of moments. Our physical state does not change. However, how we “feel” is the way we mark our state of “being.” The 4th dimension is a “feeling” that all is and will be ok. It’s that simple. The 5th dimension is a “feeling” of unconditional love to all. When we can transcend the “ego filter” that keeps of rooted in the 3rd dimension of fear and lack, we are in a more peaceful state. We then know the universe is a beautiful and friendly place. It is all from within. Heaven is our joyful state of being.

Darius, I hope I have aided you in your quest to understand the ego.

  5. Darius McCoy says:

So, correct me if I got what you said wrong… Please do… So, the ego is not a entity unto itself, set forth to cause conflict within me. The “ego” is a term placed in the consciousness as a means of control? For if I believe that there is such a thing that creates thoughts inside my head, then how can I become truly free? Correct me if I’m wrong, you say that the ego is a filter, if that be true, than something or someone caused it to be real enough that most, if not all would believe the filtered view was indeed reality. And I must say that it is: In the 3rd Dimension. If the term “ego” is simply a filter, it would be so easy to just pull it away and cast it to the ground. Am I missing something? If I am, please enlighten me… I am a humble student, and Life is my teacher…

    Reginald Martin Reply:

    Hi Darius, you asked:

The “ego” is a term placed in the consciousness as a means of control?

Allow me to back up a little and explain my belief about reality. My belief is that we are creators of our reality. Everything in our physical world is a projection of an inner event or state of being. All aspects of our life is of our own creation in order to develop ourselves as consciousness and conscious beings.

With that stated, let’s look at your initial question. The ego in not placed in our consciousness. It is a part of who we are as conscious energy. Our physical body, our life is of our own creation. The so called “ego” is simply a filter for this physical reality. Meaning that it is where our attention is placed. It is a part of our consciousness that is rooted in physical reality. Ego is simply an arbitrary designation of an aspect of our consciousness. It is not evil, it is not something that we should rise above and overcome. We simply need to understand what it is and direct it accordingly.

Believe it or not, any thoughts you have are ones that you have attracted to you. Thoughts attract like thoughts.

Correct me if I’m wrong, you say that the ego is a filter, if that be true, than something or someone caused it to be real enough that most, if not all would believe the filtered view was indeed reality.

Do you view reality as only the things you can sense with your 5 senses of taste, touch, smell, sight and hearing?
Can you pull your “subconscious” away and cast it to the ground?
Is the “ego”, for you, something to overcome or shun?

The ego is like a veil. One can pierce that veil and view a much grander reality.

  6. Darius says:

Thank you so much for your reply. I read so much about how we must overcome our ego in order to attain a higher level of consciousness, as if it were a struggle or battle within between two separate forces. I do believe that everything physical is refection or manifestation of the unseen, so the unseen/spirit realm is more real to me that this physical one. It feels good to know that the “ego” is a part of me and not something I have to battle with every moment. I realize that I have now gained more control because I no longer have the “ego” to blame for negative thoughts and the like. It’s all on me, and I like that.

What part if any does the ego filter play in subconscious reactions and emotions that we develop from past experiences, even the ones we no longer consciously remember?

Would It be off base say that the “ego” like the “mind” is our tool as you said “to develop ourselves as consciousness and conscious beings”?

Thank you for your time, I really appreciate it…

    Reginald Martin Reply:

Hi Darius, In a way you can view all of physical reality as a tool from the perspective of your soul. Physical reality is simply “the game” that you have your attention placed in. The ego is the master of ceremonies for this game, so to speak. The ego and the subconscious work interchangeably when it comes to forming your reality. One does not have total control over the other. You choose which version of your reality you want to realize from deep within your dream state. Your ego can feed information to your subconscious via your dreams. There is much truth in the statement, “life is a game.” The statement is not meant to trivialize life, but to put things in the perspective of the soul for the mind.

  7. Darius says:

    Hey, Hey…

Now when you say “your attention place in”, are you referring to me the “soul”?

“Your ego can feed information to your subconscious via your dreams.” Now when we speak of the subconscious, are we referring to the subconscious mind/psyche?

Is the subconscious, the bridge/window/doorway that experience based information is passed from one dimension to the other?

“Your ego can feed information to your subconscious via your dreams.” As well, does not my “soul” feed information to/through the subconscious for the benefit of my ego?

    Peace&Love…

    Reginald Martin Reply:

    Darius, you asked,

Now when you say “your attention place in”, are you referring to me the “soul”? Yes, I do mean you as the soul. For the soul life can be analogous to a roller coaster ride. The experience from the physical is very exciting for the soul! The biggest part of the game in the physical is not remembering we are a soul, coming back to that realization and reconnecting. and yes when I say subconscious I am referring to our subconscious mind.

does not my “soul” feed information to/through the subconscious for the benefit of my ego?
You are absolutely correct. The soul does feed information through your subconscious. However, the physical body feed information to the soul also. It is not a one way communication from the soul to the physical. Our physical experiences are registered by the soul. Try not to think of our consciousness as separate parts. Consciousness is all one. We humans try and make distinctions of ego, subconcious and superconscious. Physical reality is but one stream of information and the so called ego is tuned totally to that stream. We run into issues when we allow the “ego” to believe it is all there is to our consciousness. The soul perceives the same way whether we are in the physical or not. But the stream of consciousness we call ego is perceived by the soul.

  8. Darius says:

    Hey, Hey…

“Physical reality is but one stream of information and the so called ego is tuned totally to that stream. We run into issues when we allow the “ego” to believe it is all there is to our consciousness.”

“when we allow the “ego”"… If the “ego” is an aspect of me, then I allow myself to believe that the Physical reality is all that there is… No?

“Our physical experiences are registered by the soul.”
So, would it make sense, to say, My ancestors are My souls experiences of many past lives, physical and or non-physical?

    P&L

    Reginald Martin Reply:

    Hi Darius, You asked

“when we allow the “ego””… If the “ego” is an aspect of me, then I allow myself to believe that the Physical reality is all that there is… No?

The ego IS an aspect of your consciousness. And yes, you are the one that will allow it to shut out all other data available to you. I am going to use a mathematical analogy to explain the concept of the ego and how it operates. My numbers are totally arbitrary and not representative of anything accept the concept of how the ego operates. So do not get hung up on the numbers, understand the ego conceptually.

    Here we go:
Let’s say that all of the data in the universe is represented by 1000 GB. At any given second all 1000 GB will pass through our consciousness. A person operating at the optimum level of physical consciousness can perceive say 50 GB of data in a second. Let’s say this person operating at the optimum level of physical consciousness would be represented by master teachers, like, The Christ, Buddha and Muhammad.

The average person that believes the physical world is all there is to experience through the ego will only acknowledge say 5 GB of data in a second. The whole time there are 1000 GB of data available at any given time, but most of us are only tuned in to 5 GB of data. The average person will actually experience more and recognize something different or “weird” at different times but will discount it as make believe or not acknowledge it at all. Either because of ignorance and/or fear. For instance we all know about a mothers intuition, many of us have deja vu experiences of having been in a time or place before or we can recall dreams. All these things are perceptions and experiences of the larger stream of consciousness. They are ALL common to us as humans. non of those experiences are physical. But our egos will make us believe that physical reality is all there is to experience.

But, in order to have access and experience more of the larger bank of data, we must raise our vibrations, or ascend. We do so by finding our joy or in another way of looking at it, finding our heaven within. Through finding our joy, our purpose, or reason for living, we can expand our abilities. When we operate from a higher vibration we can get all kinds of information and aid. We may never get to the 50 GB while in this physical life. But maybe we can get 10 or even 20 GB of data in this life.

So yes, you have allowed yourself to believe that physical reality is all there is to experience in the past. You are now beginning to trust a grander part of you and acknowledging more data to come to your conscious awareness. I will bet that you have acted on data received from the much broader aspect of the data available subconsciously. We all do without realizing it. Often times our higher consciousness will operate through us, in-spite of us. The ego works as it should in physical reality. It does what it is supposed to do. And that is to interpret and experience physical reality. It is not good or bad, it just is.

    You said,

So, would it make sense, to say, My ancestors are My souls experiences of many past lives, physical and or non-physical?

Ahhh, another rhetorical question my friend? :)

Would it be too much to say that in past lives you have been your own ancestors? To acknowledge the blessings of your ancestors is to acknowledge the blessing from a grander you? Would it be way out of bounds to say that you have lived in other worlds and have access to that data? Have you ever dreamed you could breath under water?

Just sparks for your eventual fire.

I sense you already know. :)

I hope my mathematical analogy can lead you to your greater truths about your reality and the ego. Remember the numbers are irrelevant. It is the concept of how the ego operates in the physical that is important.

  9. Darius says:

“The ego IS an aspect of your consciousness. And yes, you are the one that will allow it to shut out all other data available to you.”
[On the very basic level of the “ego”, I have come to believe that it is this… The “ego” is that part of us that allows the separation of the One to experience the many experiences on this particular plane of existence. The “ego” to me is a culmination of experiences based on the duality of this particular plane of existence from ones incarnation/birth the “ego” is the part of this experience that collects all the data of this earthy experience, and affords that data to the soul via the psyche… Now, as far as the Numbers Go… Mine is “9”… And I will be hittin’ you up on you Astrology section… Believe Dat…]

“Let’s say that all of the data in the universe is represented by 1000 GB.”
[LOL… P&L… I have an external hard drive that is 500 GB… So, it’s kind of hard for me to visualize the Universe being represented as 1000 GB, lol… Personally, I would have gone for 1000 TG… lol… P&L… Who truly can know the mind of a man, lest himself? Who can dream another’s dream? Who can truly say, I see what you see, I feel what you feel; I Know What You Know… I Am You, and You Are Me? There are those who talk, and there are those who walk… Those who talk, yet never walk, and those who walk, yet never talk, IS the Universal Law of Polarity… The extreme opposites of All that there is… Who Knew… I step to anyone… Yet I say this… The difference, the “Only” difference, between you, and me… IS… I Know Who I AM…]

“Ahhh, another rhetorical question my friend?”
[Yes, rhetorical… For I AM me, and You are We… There is ONLY ONE…]

    Peace & Love
