MECCA IN BIBLE: psalms 84 5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.[d]
7 They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion
In Hebrew “Baka” means “ valley of weeping”
Surah 3:19 in the Quran states : Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), full of blessing, and a guidance for Al-'Alamin

The rain and pool mentioned in the psalms is actually the well of zamzam in Mekka the place Muslims go for pilgrimage
The Zamzam well has never stopped flowing since the time of Abraham which that itself is a miracle and it heals people. Zam zam water still remains, and is in abundant use of many pilgrims at Mecca.
Bakka means “the valley of weeping” and it is a well known fact that Muslims cry on their way home from pilgrimage.
If you still deny find me a place on Earth called “Bakkah” where people make pilgrimages, and there is a pool or a well. And the city must have a well known place of worship. Jesus even says n John 4:19-21 Jesus would tell the Samaritan woman that “a time will come when you will worship the father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem…”

Trust me Palma, you did not miss a thing. all the guilt and fear conditioning that you missed probably allowed you to have a much richer life experience. :)

LOL - Do you mean that I didn't trade sleeping in on Sunday for the certainty of going straight to Hell? :-)

Hi Palma, you siad:
"Btw, as a child I wondered about the exact same thing, of why we wouldn’t hear the clear voice of God, as they did in the Bible… but I never had a chance to ask and be sent out to the church steps, because my parents refused to send me to Sunday school… "

Consider yourself lucky. :lol: religion in my family involved a certain amount of trauma. :lol:
