A Practical lesson on the tool of faith to manifest your desires
ByMost of us have heard the word faith. A great majority of the time it is used in the context of religious thought and doctrine. In reality faith has nothing to do with anything religious. It can be used by anyone at anytime. Faith is the most powerful manifesting tool in the universe. Faith is not mysterious, it has a practical application. Once you know what it truly is and how to use faith you become a manifesting machine.
What is faith?
For centuries we have had faith defined for us in terms that apply to belief in a deity. In my mind it is an impossible definition to grasp and to truly use faith practically. The definition that we have heard and passed down to us is that faith is “the belief in things unseen.” For me this is a very limited idea of what faith is and it is based on the very secular and scientific view point that our entire universe is physical. In other words faith is belief in something that you can not see, touch, feel, hear or taste. It is the belief that something non-physical can be believed even though you can not see, touch, feel, hear or taste it. If you think of faith in terms of this definition it automatically shuts down the power that it has because you introduce doubt. Doubt that it is “real” and “real” meaning physical. I go into more detail on this in my article faith is unnecessary when you experience God. It is not my intension to delve into religious beliefs in this article but to talk about faith which is not religious.
So what is faith? Faith is the expectation that your vision will happen! In other words many people are now becoming aware of the power of our thoughts. We have learned that a thought is the initial impetus for anything that has manifested in our physical reality. A non-physical thought initiated or caused all things in between to produce or manifest the “real” or effect before us in the physical. In other words there is a cause and effect.
The mind is real
The power of the mind is the part that was not understood in the old definition of faith. It was not understood that what is in the mind is “real” it simply has not become physical. Your vision or mental pictures can become physical. In order for your vision to become “real” or manifest in the physical you must EXPECT that it is going to happen. That is faith! The expectation that your vision will manifest! Not simply belief in something unseen but the expectation that what you produce in your mind will occur.
I believe the most difficult part for the average person is to have expectation. When we don’t understand how the universe works we have doubts. When we don’t know that we create our reality and we are full of doubts. Before we take responsibility for the life that we have we believe that every thing that occurs in our life is a random manifestation of chaos. In other words, the belief that the universe has no order when it comes to our physical reality. That is the farthest thing from the truth. The universe has laws that orchestrate everything in existence. The laws work the same for the physical and the non-physical.
What happens when we have faith?
Faith is not something mystical. It is a powerful manifesting tool! When you analyze it in our daily existence you will see evidence and know how powerful faith can be. Without faith no circumstance will change! Another way to look at it is that we can believe that something can change but without the expectation behind that belief it is no longer faith. When you visualize your life different than it is today know that the universe will orchestrate all things to manifest your vision.
What occurs when you have the expectation that your vision will manifest is that the resources and people will start to cross your path. It is then up to you to act on those things. If you still believe in luck or coincidence then you may let those magical moments pass with a whimper. But when you know you are the creator of your reality, you realize in that moment that the universe is bringing to you what you envisioned and you act with power and confidence. You know It is the laws of the universe that you invoked to create what you desired.
A practical application of faith
Another part of how people have thought of faith in the past is the saying, “faith without works is dead.” The statement is absolutely true! The problem is that we have thought of the work only in physical terms. We did not realize the power of the mind. The “works” part is actually our visualizations. When we first create it in the mind then by order of the universal laws we start to attract into our experience all that we need to manifest our visions into physical reality.
When we are simply acting or working physically, how can we know what work is to be done? It is highly probable that if you simply physically act your work will be in vain. But when you lay the ground work first in your mind and send a message to the universe you will be lead and moved in the needed direction. Because you have sent a message to the universe first, in your mind, it knows what you desire and it can orchestrate all that is needed and bring to you your “works.” Many times you won’t know why you made a turn down this street, or went into that store, or a person that you have never met crosses your path with a message or help for what you needed just in time. Was it coincidence or luck that these things occurred? Of course not! It was a conscious creation manifesting. It is how faith works.
The actual physical part is made easier because we paved the way by sending our message to the universe in the universal language of pictures or symbols. Those symbols invoke emotions within us and at that time we are communicating and tapping into the universe. It’s not what we say. The universal laws do not respond to English, French, Spanish or any other verbal language. It is the symbols that stoke our emotions that the universe responds to.
I love to use what Abraham-Hicks calls a “workshop.” A workshop is where you sit in a quiet space for 15-20 minutes and visualize the world that you desire. You bring in all the pictures that represent what you want. You bring all the emotions with you in your visualizations. You can talk to your self or whatever you need to do but it is important to “feel” what your circumstances will be like. This is the “works” part of faith. When you are done with the works expect that it will happen and the rest will be magic. The Universal laws work absolutely and without impartiality to you religious beliefs. Faith is a universal manifesting tool.

Thank you for putting my feelings into the words.
After comprehension of the definition of faith, the symbols became clearly defined and the fine arts threw down its mask by inviting to look at what’s beyond the picture and thus enabling each beholder to hear better and appreciate better the current silence – to make the applause to the artists the personal steps of day-to-day life.
