Why is something as good as sex, so bad?
Posted by: | CommentsWhy is it that in the world of religion and spirituality certain subjects are seen as negative even when they bring such passion out in us? It is always a constant judgment of what is good and evil. Many times the lines are so blurred we can’t know where one begins and the other ends. We decide on arbitrary divisions that a person or an organization in power will set for the masses. The problem is that the messages can be so contradictory or against human nature that we get totally confused or just turn off our faculties of reasoning. One of these polarizing concepts is sex. Sex can be so wonderful but yet have so many negative connotations attached to it in religious circles.
Have you ever considered what the root cause of a type of thinking that would make something as good as sex, so bad? So bad that we are supposed to feel guilty or shameful for just thinking about it and God forbid if we enjoy it. I like getting to the root of things because it really tends to shed light on contradictions. Religious doctrines are a contradiction because desiring sex is as natural a breathing and yet in many religious and spiritual circles you should abstain from it for any number of reasons. Sometimes society can get so caught up in “rational thought” that is loses sight of common sense. In religious circles I put sex in this category. I can imagine the first religious person that had sex, looks at his woman and says, “OMG baby! This is so good we can’t let people get hooked on it. we have got to make some rules against it! (whispering) Do you think they know about this?

Is your truth the absolute truth so help you God?
Posted by: | CommentsRecently I have been making my way around different forums. Personally I enjoy good discussion and debate. I believe that a good constructive discussion can lead to ideas being tested and consciousness expanding. As spiritual beings in human form we are incarnated on earth to learn lessons and expand our consciousness. The lesson that we learn we take with us for eternity. We all can get so passionate about our beliefs. Name any religion or body of believers such as atheist or metaphysicians and you will get a group of people that will literally fight to the death to preserve their idea of “truth.” That word truth spawns so many fights and self righteous rants. So many believe that the truth is singular and constant. In other words a “truth” is a truth for everyone and should be seen and acted on as such. However, I would like to question this widely held belief. I would like to question it on some very simple concepts that can be extrapolated to a much broader scale.
Where did relgion get its ideas?
There is an ancient philosophy from Egypt (then called Kemit) called Hermetic Philosophy. It predates all religions. From this land we have had words and concepts passed down to us today. One word in particular still has the name of the originators of the science, which is called Kemistry or Chemistry. The word alchemy was derived from practices developed in ancient Kemit. Hermetic philosophy was so named after a man in Kemit that the Greeks named Hermes or the messenger of God. Read More→
what is your gateway to untold power and strength in physical reality?
Posted by: | CommentsThere is a part of us that we often times take for granted. On a certain level we know the power of it but in the next breath we will limit that power based on erroneous assumptions that we have learned from conventional science. Conventional science says that we must be able to reproduce or quantify any hypothesis, experiment or condition in order for it to be “real.” In other words at least two people must be able to experience the same phenomenon objectively before it is considered to be proven or justifiable. However, this concept of scientific method discounts the vast part of us as human beings that exists outside of “objective reality. “ Read More→
