Posted by: | CommentsJust the other day I was watching a video of an interview of actor Will Smith on the blog of a new friend in the blogosphere. What Mr. Smith had to say on the video really struck a chord with me. He talked about having a particular mindset when dealing with life. The interviewer asked him about someone saying that Will Smith had a preoccupation with happy endings. Will answered the question very eloquently and in his unique humorous way. But that statement of someone having a preoccupation with happy endings really struck me. The implication of that statement is that it is odd that someone expects a positive outcome in life. Why doesn’t the law of attraction work for me?
Posted by: | CommentsI know there are many of us that ask that question daily. We have done all the things that the law of attraction pundits said to do and yet we still have life as it has existed for us right smack dab in our face. We start to wonder is the LOA just a bunch of bs. Could it be that the LOA just does not work for everybody? If it did wouldn’t everyone have all that they desire? What’s keeping me from realizing all that I desire? I know the LOA and do as I am taught, yet things don’t happen like I visualize them. What gives?
Congratulations
First of all, if you have started to ask those questions let me congratulate you. Because you are asking questions you are not being blindly lead. Let me also congratulate you for being brave enough to take responsibility for your life and how it is unfolding. U Create ALL in this plane of physical existence. Secondly let me say that it is ok to doubt. You are human and you must be able to accept all parts of your being and that means any imperfections that you perceive yourself as having. When you have doubt followed by earnest and seeking questions that is the first steps to growth and understanding and developing your unique experience in human form. To blindly follow and never question would simply be a religion. God knows we don’t need any more of those. You are becoming a conscious creator.
Did the LOA stop working for me?
Please allow me to explain why things may not be working as you visualize them at this time. Remember that you are a soul. You incarnated for the experience of being human. Part of that experience is to learn certain life lessons. As a soul before you chose a certain life and its circumstances because that life would give you the potential to experience certain things. For example, if you chose a life of privilege you may never have to feel what it is like to wonder where you are going to get the money to pay your light bill. However, because of the privileged life your parents have the money to send you to boarding school for most of your childhood and teenage years of development. You may feel unloved by your parents because they did not spend time caring for you and raising you. As a child you had everything money could buy.

A lesson that you as a soul may want to experience is to learn that you see your self as being worthy of love and not feeling like another thing to possess. You will develop a belief system based largely on your upbringing. Based on your beliefs you will create your experience through a need to feel worthy of love. Remember thought/belief is cause. Based on beliefs developed from your environment you will start to attract your experience to yourself.
The thing with beliefs that people often times don’t realize is that you may be conscious of one belief but not be aware of it floating on top other beliefs and underlying fear(s). in the above example you may be aware of the need to feel worthy of love, but still feel that others need to show you in different ways. You may be looking for that feeling coming from outside yourself when the lesson is that it is you that has to know your are loved by you. Until you learn the lesson different scenarios will be attracted by you into your life that will stimulate those emotions and perceptions of being unworthy. You can visualize someone loving you but not realizing the love should be from inside. Until you, consciously understand what it is that you are to learn the lesson keeps repeating. You must change your thinking/beliefs to change your experience. This takes much introspection.
The Laws of the Universe always work
Another reason that you may feel the LOA is not working is that you asked the universe for something that is out of the norm for you current circumstance. For example, you are in a job that you hate. It does not pay enough, the coworkers are lousy, the conditions are lousy and you want to make a change. Because you are now conscious of the LOA you ask the universe for wealth and prosperity. You visualize exactly what you want! All of a sudden you get laid off! In this terrible economy that is not a good thing at all! How will you make it day to day let alone get wealthy? You can the say the LOA is not working. Or is it? The universe will give you what you ask. At this point you can really get down and depressed and focus on the misfortune. Or you can start to come up with ways to earn income. Maybe you have a million dollar idea that you would never have considered while you were employed. The universe is moving things around for you to realize your vision of wealth and prosperity. You have to recognize the opportunities and move on them when they arise. If you believe that you are a creator you will take steps to make your vision come true. If you feel that life just happens to you and take the mentality of a victim then the universe will bring to you what you perceive. You have a choice and free will to decide what your human experience will be at anytime. The laws of the universe work without fail at all times!
Understand that when you are in alignment with your purpose for incarnating things can go smoothly for you. All things that occur in life are for achieving that purpose. You do have the free will do go in any direction you want. It will be a lot more difficult if you are not aligning with your purpose. If you do not learn the lessons and find the purpose in this life you will get the chance to work on it again. However, because of the laws of the universe it may be a little tougher lesson to learn the next time around. The LOA is always working. Whether you are conscious of it or not, whether you believe it or not.
The good news is that you are conscious of it now. It is up to you to decide what your focus is going to be. Will you focus on the difficult circumstances that you have today, or visualize the way you want them to be? “Ask and it is given, knock and the door will be opened.” This is where faith in your ability to create will have to come into play. “The Father knows what you need before you ask.” You already have it. You simply need to allow and attract it into your experience.

Thought is Cause

68 seconds of pure thought. I thought this post was so powerful because it puts some science behind the process of creating and manifesting our reality. It also illustrates how powerful we are as souls in physical form. I put the link up so you can view the post. It is a real eye opener and helpful to all. Thanks Palma for some great information.
A pure thought= having a thought that has no contradiction or opposition to what it is you are thinking.
This concept is so powerful. If you are contemplating your dream; the thing that you want so badly you can taste it! Maybe you are thinking about your business and how you want it to grow. Maybe you are considering a job promotion. The law of cause and effect is at work. Like thought are going to attract like thoughts. or put another way the thoughts that you are in harmony with will attract themselves to each
other and build a momentum. But now with the 68 seconds of pure thought concept you have a formula for manifesting whatever you want. 68 seconds of “pure thought” is the equivalent energy of 1000 years of man ours! Not 1,000 seconds, not 1,000 minutes or even 1,000 days! It is 1,000 years!
Now this is something that you have to truly consider. The pure thought concept works on whatever thoughts you have. Be they negative or positive. If your thoughts are on what you don’t want that is what you are building the energy to manifesting. The universe does not hear. the universe does not speak, English, Spanish, French, or any other language for that matter. Therefore, if you are saying I don’t want something and visualizing and/or feeling that thing, then the universe/source brings you what you have in your minds eye. Your feelings and emotions are the technology that allows you to access the prime law of cause and effect. The attraction part is really what occurs after you have set the law in motion with your thought.
Your emotions and feelings are the part that attracts to you those things you think about. Whether you want them or not. What is it that you desire? Answer that question. Meditate/pray, visualize and feel what it IS like to have it.

The Greatest Law of The Universe
Posted by: | CommentsMany people do not realize the prime law of the universe. The prime law is a basic principle of our existence, not only on earth, but in the spiritual realm also. It is probably the most powerful law that affects us in the universe. It is a law that all the religious masters have taught. Every scientist understands this law. Any quantum physicist knows that in our existence the observer has a direct affect on what is being observed. Almost anyone in the world understands this law at the base level. It is stated in many different ways, “you reap what you sow”, “you get what you give”, “what goes around comes around.” These are all another way of stating the prime law of the universe, which is cause and effect. In other words, something caused the event (effect) that is now before you. What you did (cause) produced the event (effect).
It is so important to understand that many of the religious teachings have nothing to do with religion. They are universal laws that have been wrapped in dogma and doctrine by man. Jesus was teaching in many scripture this same law.
Luke 6:37 Jesus said, “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven.”
Each one of these statements by Jesus is a restatement of cause and effect. The law is universal. Religion tries to make it holy or punishable by some transgression when a person does not comply with its man made rule. Whether or not you abided by the man made rule is irrelevant. It is simply the way our universe operates. We can probably call it the prime law of the universe. The law is spiritual, and it has nothing to do with religion. Nothing escapes this law.
This statement I am sure you have heard, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” Luke 6:31. Every religion has it in some form or another.
Again it is the law of cause and effect restated. How about the concept of karma? Yes, it’s the same law. What you give you get. I know that many people roll their eyes when they hear the term law of attraction. It has been over used and over simplified. But it is real. You don’t even have to consciously believe it. It is simply the prime law of the universe. I think the best thing that the secret movie has done is to expose the universal law in a non-religious setting. It makes people realize that one can be spiritual without religion. Even though the terms religion and spirituality are used synonymously they are not the same.
Here’s what I mean. Spirituality is not simply about a holier than thou feeling every Sunday or whenever you may go to church, synagogue, mosque or religious service. Spirituality is simply recognizing your connection to source and honoring that connection with gratitude. Being thankful for all that you, as a soul, experiencing human form. It’s not about following some man made idea of righteousness. Some man made idea of sin. You are always connected to source. Honor that connection by doing the smallest thing that you enjoy and be grateful that you could enjoy it in this human form. That is being spiritual! I was eating a doughnut the other day, it was sooooo good while I was eating it! I was so appreciative of that doughnut in the moment. It was a spiritual experience. Then I thought about all the calories! Spiritual experience over. Grrrr! I digress.
Source/God wants us to have whatever we desire. Source does not judge it good or bad, negative or positive. Source gives you what you train your thoughts and visualizations on. You are the judge of it.
If you walk around everyday with your attention trained on what you lack, or things you don’t like. Then source will provide for you the experience that your thoughts and visualizations are on. If you want a good woman or a good man, be that, vibrate with that. You have to know what that means for you. Source will give you what you ask for. If you are not sure how or what to ask for, what can source do? You want to have abundance? Think and visualize abundance. That does not mean simply money. It can be love, it can be time, and it can be a Mocha Frappacino from Starbucks. Abundance is what makes you happy. That is what source will guarantee you.
Of course you already now these things. You have probably used or stated the universal law in the ways that I have quoted and in your own way. You know that you know. On a deeper level you understand the prime universal law. You simply need to understand that it is always at work. It is more than just the pop culture mantra of “think positive.” You have to BE positive. That is a state that proceeds any thought. the state of BEING. One of the most powerful questions ever asked was by Moses to God. Moses asked God, what should I call you. Gods answer was, Exodus 3:14 “I AM THAT I AM”. In the movie “The Moses Code” one of the speakers made a profound suggestion about the answer given to Moses. He suggested that a comma should be put after the word that. I AM THAT, I AM. When you say it with the comma inserted God is stating that what ever you may be viewing at any given time, I AM THAT, I AM. In other words, God is ALL things! Including you!
Understand that when you invoke the power of the prime universal law of cause and effect, the start of the process is your state of being. How do you see yourself? Are you sad? I am that, I am. That is your state of being. Are you poor? I am that, I am. Are you abundant? I am that, I am. So what is your state of being on the day? What have you decided? I do know this, on any day you are endowed with the greatness of the creator. For many reasons we can forget that at times. However, you can remind yourself of who you are at anytime. You are the cause for your life. It starts with your state of being. The prime law is yours to use. You are a creator. You are a soul living a human experience. You can invoke the name of the creator and simply BE. I AM. When you do you can remember that YOU are the Cause for your world. How powerful and liberating! You are a soul, living a human experience.

If Science says Opposites Attract, How Can The Law of Attraction Work?
Posted by: | CommentsI got into a discussion on the law of attraction on another blog the other day. A person asked me how can the law of attraction work when it says that like attracts like and science says that opposites attract?
I really felt that is was a profound question because many people say they do not believe in the law of attraction. I understand because while the secret movie is a great introduction to a very powerful concept it is really just touches the surface of the knowledge of how the law works. The secret movie set me off on a journey to discover more because it just seemed to simplistic.
I am a Scorpio astrologically and when we get hold of a subject that interest us we will look under the hood, take the hood off and then disassemble the car to get to the meat of our interest/subject. Skimming the surface and letting it lie is just not our nature. Now you Gemini’s will take it at face value and move on with other more fun business.
So what of this like attracts like thing? It goes against science. On first glance the law does seem like a contradiction. Science and the law of attraction are both on target. Here’s what I mean.
Everything in the universe is energy at the most base level, science says this. Everything in the universe vibrates, science has proven this also. In order to create anything there has to be an opposite counter part for any charged particles, wave or people to come together and create anything. We tend to want to use the terms negative and positive however, it is more useful to understand them in the aspect of masculine and feminine. Nothing at all to do with sexuality they are opposite energies. But it takes the masculine and feminine aspect to come together to create anything. That means the masculine and feminine energies must coexist to create. It takes masculine and feminine energies to create a thought, masculine and feminine to create a child, a planet, or a universe. It works on any level of creation. This is going under the hood of the law of attraction.
So what is the like attracts like? This is where the movie comes in and explains the concept. That which you vibrate in harmony with is the masculine or feminine counterpart that will attract to you. If you are sending out a masculine vibration your energy will seek it feminine counter part to create the experience you sent to the universe. Your masculine energy vibrates like the feminine counterpart that was attracted into your experience. Again this is irrespective of sex. Masculine energy seeks, it is the aggressor. Feminine energy is passive, it is the receiver. With out the feminine the masculine can not create. Without the masculine the feminine can not create.
If the both energies do not vibrate in harmony with the other they will not be attracted to each other. Like vibration attracts like vibration. A great symbol for how masculine and feminine energy work together is the yin and yang symbol. You see the light and dark masses intertwined in a circle. Imagine the energies constantly moving, balancing and rebalancing each other. The amount of energy never changes in the circle. It is a constant dance between the masculine and feminine energy. If they are not in harmony, they can not coexist. Like attracts like. The Law of attraction at work.
The law is not in conflict with science. One just has to go a little deeper under the hood to understand it in totality. As above, so below.
Is the law of attraction real or something just made up?
