How to control your thoughts, or can you?
Posted by: | CommentsAre you a person that is starting to come to the belief that you are the creator of your reality? Have you heard over and over that your thoughts are creating the reality that you have now? Do you get to the point that you don’t want to think because you fear thinking the “wrong” thing? Do you think something and then say to yourself, oh no I want that thought back because I don’t want it to manifest? Maybe you wish thoughts could be like a long spaghetti noodle that you could just slurp back up when gets out. I am visualizing a plate of spaghetti and you leaning over it slurping the noodles.
Well have no fear, there is a way for you to monitor your thoughts. I will give you a very simple technique that you can use to know your Pervading thoughts at any time and change them if you wish.
How many thoughts per day?
Let’s pretend you have four thoughts thoughts every second and you sleep 8 hours each night. That equates to 240 thoughts per minute, 14,400 thoughts per hour and 230,000 thoughts per day! The truth of the matter is that it is probably more than that. You think in pictures, words, feelings, sounds and they can all come together to produce memories of something that you think might happen in the future and any combination of the past, present and future. It can be mind boggling to believe that you can “control” thoughts at any time.
Thoughts operate based on universal laws as do anything else. Believe it or not thoughts are attracted to each other. (Thinking about one thoughts pickup line to another, “come here often?”)
They have there own vibrations and therefore will attract others that vibrate in harmony with them. It is the law of the universe that like attracts like. Thoughts are also conscious and unconscious. (“POWER TO THE PEOPLE!” a conscious thought)
okay, what I mean is, you are thinking something ALL THE TIME whether you are aware of it or not. So how can something be controlled when you are not even aware of it? Read More→
Your point of power is in this moment
Posted by: | CommentsHow many of us have heard the pundits and gurus say “you must live in the now!” I used to read that or hear it and say to myself, can I live any other freakin’ time? I just did not quite understand what it meant and quite frankly it was the same as so much of the spiritual double speak that can be so vague and confusing.
Until I started to study myself from a metaphysical perspective there were many spiritual concepts that were confusing to me. This was because so many spiritual concepts can be applied to physical life but they really transcend physical reality to our greater existence as a soul. But trying to understand the broader concepts is like trying to understand a story with only part of the information available to you. We can get locked in on the physical because it is what’s “real.”
Time is measured by a clock not you
Physical reality is really analogous to the clothing that covers a much deeper and broader existence. The concept of time is a physical camouflage that we get locked in on even with evidence to the contrary. You see time is actually relative to all of us. We can sense true time but we don’t usually realize what is happening. For example. If you are enjoying your self at an event mentally time just seems to “fly” by. you “feel” like it has been 30 minutes pass by but when you look at your watch it has been 2 hours. When you are in a place that you are bored and want to leave but can’t that same 30 minutes can “feel” like 2 hours. You keep looking at your watch and the hands seem to stand still! In actuality this is how your soul or inner being senses what we call time. It is always relative to our “feelings.” The only thing that makes us think it is “real” is the clock or watch that we use to measure time.
In our broader existence there is no such thing as past or future. Our broader being lives in the eternal moment of now. We create our physical futures based on how we handle the information we receive in the eternal moment of now.
On a practical level one of the ways to look at the eternal moment of now is to realize that in that moment everything is ok. In other words the past has already occurred and whatever you believe will happen in the future has not gotten here so just relax in that moment.
Stress is being fixated on something that is in the past or the future
We usually get stressed when we think and worry about past and future events. We bring those feelings and anxieties into that moment. But, when you are able to stop in that moment and be grateful a sense of calm will come over you. Don’t think about the past, don’t worry about the future because at that moment you are well. Allow yourself to be ok for that moment.
When you do consciously start to project into the future, do so purposefully. Imagine what you want it to be like when you have reached that projected point. Feel what it will be like. Expect it will be that way and have faith that it will come to pass. In that moment you have the power to create your reality. In the now is your present point of power. Being able to retreat to the now is what the pundits meant. It is calming. Now I understand.
A Practical lesson on the tool of faith to manifest your desires
Posted by: | CommentsMost of us have heard the word faith. A great majority of the time it is used in the context of religious thought and doctrine. In reality faith has nothing to do with anything religious. It can be used by anyone at anytime. Faith is the most powerful manifesting tool in the universe. Faith is not mysterious, it has a practical application. Once you know what it truly is and how to use faith you become a manifesting machine.
What is faith?
For centuries we have had faith defined for us in terms that apply to belief in a deity. In my mind it is an impossible definition to grasp and to truly use faith practically. The definition that we have heard and passed down to us is that faith is “the belief in things unseen.” For me this is a very limited idea of what faith is and it is based on the very secular and scientific view point that our entire universe is physical. In other words faith is belief in something that you can not see, touch, feel, hear or taste. It is the belief that something non-physical can be believed even though you can not see, touch, feel, hear or taste it. If you think of faith in terms of this definition it automatically shuts down the power that it has because you introduce doubt. Doubt that it is “real” and “real” meaning physical. I go into more detail on this in my article faith is unnecessary when you experience God. It is not my intension to delve into religious beliefs in this article but to talk about faith which is not religious.
So what is faith? Faith is the expectation that your vision will happen! In other words many people are now becoming aware of the power of our thoughts. We have learned that a thought is the initial impetus for anything that has manifested in our physical reality. A non-physical thought initiated or caused all things in between to produce or manifest the “real” or effect before us in the physical. In other words there is a cause and effect.
The mind is real
The power of the mind is the part that was not understood in the old definition of faith. It was not understood that what is in the mind is “real” it simply has not become physical. Your vision or mental pictures can become physical. In order for your vision to become “real” or manifest in the physical you must EXPECT that it is going to happen. That is faith! The expectation that your vision will manifest! Not simply belief in something unseen but the expectation that what you produce in your mind will occur.
I believe the most difficult part for the average person is to have expectation. When we don’t understand how the universe works we have doubts. When we don’t know that we create our reality and we are full of doubts. Before we take responsibility for the life that we have we believe that every thing that occurs in our life is a random manifestation of chaos. In other words, the belief that the universe has no order when it comes to our physical reality. That is the farthest thing from the truth. The universe has laws that orchestrate everything in existence. The laws work the same for the physical and the non-physical. Read More→
